The Greens Invests in the Future of the Bowling Club

The Greens is proud to continue its strong support of the Bowling Club through a direct funding contribution of $22,080, providing the club with the flexibility to invest in initiatives that benefit its members and strengthen the future of the sport.

This funding was provided in place of the support previously delivered through a dedicated Bowls Coordinator and enables the Bowling Club to determine how best to allocate resources to meet the needs of its members and enhance the overall bowling experience.

One of the first priorities identified by the club was reducing the cost of participation. As a result, annual bowling fees have been significantly reduced from approximately $140 to just $75 per member, helping make bowls more affordable and accessible to both existing and prospective players.

The funding has also been used to support a range of club improvements, including the installation of new scoreboards and other member-focused initiatives. These upgrades enhance the experience for players while also improving the facilities enjoyed by visitors to the venue.

The Greens recognises the important role the Bowling Club plays in fostering community connections, promoting active lifestyles, and providing opportunities for social engagement. By providing direct financial support that can be invested where it has the greatest impact, The Greens is helping to ensure the Bowling Club remains sustainable, continues to attract new participants, and delivers a positive experience for everyone involved.

We look forward to seeing the ongoing benefits of this investment and to continuing our partnership with the Bowling Club as it grows and thrives for years to come.
